"I really enjoyed the 10k. It was challenging with steep hills, mud and moosive puddles but such a lovely route, great Marshall's and .......something very throw away plastic, polystyrene or paper cups. Eco friendly is the way to go. "

Juliet Vowell - 10K entrant

"Huge thank you, great fun, fab team of Marshalls and officials and a great medal too. I only did the 10k so hats off to the 6 and 12 hour competitors. Happily do it again next year."

Samantha Gratton - 6 hrs entrant

Fantastically friendly and well organised event (Beyond the far side 2019). Can't wait for the next one!

Ruth Mitchell - 6 hrs entrant

"Well that was fun!!! Enthusiastic, happy marshals sitting/standing for hours in the rain to make sure we knew where to go. Excellent race hq with a lovely leisure centre (I hope they were anticipating mud in the changing rooms 😨). Fab choice of food and plenty of it and a lush hot meal from 6hr on. A stunning, challenging route and a great environmentally friendly medal at the end. Top marks all round for a faultless 1st running of what will surely become a sell-out event. Thanks to all involved 👏👏"

Sarah Cowburn - 12 hrs entrant

Thank you Neil and the team for making us feel so welcome and part of your running community with a truly lovely and beautiful yet very challenging route. Everyone was so helpful and nothing too much trouble making sure we had everything we needed. Congrats on your first event and looking forward to what is in store for the future. "

Anne Kelly - 12 hrs entrant

"Love every single part of the day.
Was a truly amazing event and had fun on every lap. So well organised and the marshals were first class.
My THANK YOU goes to you for organising a mad, hard and amazing brilliant event."

Unnamed Runner - 24 hrs Entrant

"Im stopping now" (after 2 laps)

RD: "Really? You still have 21 hrs left"

Runner: "Yep. I wanted to do  100 miles.....and there is no way I will get a 100 miles on THAT course. I'm going home"

"I did the Beyond the Farside 24 hour race put on by Crooked Tracks and I can thoroughly recommend any event put on by them. The event was brilliantly organised without being over the top. They had a great band of volunteers and marshals who support you all the way. The food they put on was brilliant, the bean chili I ate after the race was the most beautiful thing I've ever tasted (I was a little delirious but it was really tasty, just what I needed). Importantly for me there was minimal waste with no unwanted t-shirt and a wooden medal."

Beyond the Far Side 24 hours 2020.
Super enthusiastic marshalls, loads and loads of food, and great wooden engraved medal. By far the toughest race I have ever done: the hilliest, the muddiest, the coldest, the longest.

A Run With No Witty Name 2018.
Fantastic Course, Marshall's, Organisation and an event that certainly leaves you wanting more! This is "one of those" that you mark on your calender for next year. Loved every single stride of it, well done Crooked Tracks Wiltshire.

I ran the ‘a run without a witty name’ yesterday and I can’t recommend it enough, had a great day out, thoroughly marked course 4 of the best aid stations I’ve seen in a while at an event. One of them was in the car park of a pub. I may have had a pot of tea.

If you want a lovely (if tough) route a little over 31 miles (we had one minor detour) this should be near the top of your list

Fantastic event, aid stations were very hard to get out of( too much great food) Marshall’s were awesome! Course markings could do with a bit more work, and a different colour...........That fixed it would have been a 10 out of 10! See you next year

Thanks to all who were involved in todays fun run , with out you all it couldn't have happened. So a big thumbs up. Awesome medals, some were saying they had entered for these alone! Lovely food and drink. Lovely course....see you next year.

My first ultra, so hard to compare, but it has got me hooked. AMAZING aid stations and marshalls, loved the course and food at the finish and we were grateful for the last minute diversion preventing us being shot at.

Rob Lush

Thank you all involved in today’s organisation, truly brilliant day out in the rain, a picnic at the aid stations was advertised and we got a fully stocked buffet with choices for all. The medals are so thoughtful and bespoke, and the stew at the end was perfect. Thank you Neil for putting on two of the best events I’ve done this year

So much thanks goes to each and everyone of you involved in yesterday’s event. It was certainly tough but you made it amazing. The CPs were fantastic and the Marshalls so helpful, friendly and encouraging. The food at the end was delicious. Thank you Thank you and Thank you again
